Inanna Joins the Lab as a Postdoc
Inanna Warnhoff has just joined us as a postdoc after completing her PhD at LMU in Munich. During her PhD, she investigated electrophysiological and morphological alterations in cortical neurons in mouse models of schizophrenia, as well as their pharmacological rescue. Drawn by her passion for patch clamp and her curiosity about the circuit mechanisms of cognition, she’s now diving into neural circuits involved in spatial orientation using slice electrophysiology, optogenetics, and neural tracing.
Outside the lab, Inanna is an all-round artist. She paints intricate fantasy worlds and sings, bringing creativity and plenty of detail to everything she does. She also admits that her sense of direction (and distinguishing right from left!) is not her strongest skill, despite successfully finding her way to our lab.
We’re delighted to have her on the team – welcome, Inanna!
