Célia Joins the Lab as a Postdoc

Célia Laurent has just joined us from France as the very first postdoc in the lab! She completed her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at Aix-Marseille University, where she studied the head direction system in the retrosplenial cortex and goal-directed navigation in rats. With her strong background in all things navigation, Célia is now diving into exciting experiments using our new behavioural setup, which lets us study the sense of direction across different reference frames with tight control over sensory cues. When she's not coding or playing around with neurons, Célia is likely to be found climbing walls. We're very excited to have her on the team and can't wait for the cool discoveries ahead!
