Célia Laurent, PhD | Postdoc
Célia joined the lab after completing a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at Aix-Marseille University. Her doctoral research, conducted in the labs of Pierre-Yves Jacob and Francesca Sargolini, combined behavioural testing and in vivo electrophysiology in rats to investigate how environmental structure and animal behaviour shape the neural coding of space. She now aims to further explore the neural basis of goal-directed navigation and the sense of direction, using novel behavioural assays, electrophysiological recordings, and circuit manipulations in mice.
